Maintenance and care of battery chainsaws

This article introduces the maintenance and precautions for the battery chainsaws in the process of using.

In the process of using, you need to check the chain of the tightening situation. Once the chain is loose, adjust it according to the following methods.

1. When adjusting or touching the chain, be sure to stop charging the chainsaw first. Due to the sharpness of the teeth of the chain, protective gloves are required before carrying out maintenance and servicing of the chain.
2. Stop the engine and remove the lithium battery to prevent accidental starting of the rechargeable chainsaw.
3. Turn the compression knob counterclockwise to loosen the guide bar by an appropriate amount.
4. Turn the chain tensioning knob clockwise to tighten the chain.Adjustment standard of chain tension , before use the electric chain saw , the chain temperature is low, to the lower side of the guide bar does not loosen shall prevail; in the process of use, the saw chain temperature increases, to hand can smoothly turn the saw chain shall prevail.
5. Turn the pressure knob clockwise to firmly fix the guide bar (and saw chain). During use, if the  chain is loose, make sure to adjust it in time.

Please attention!

• When sawing for a period of time, the chain will become slightly loose (about 1.3mm out of the the guide bar) as the temperature of the chain will rise.
• When the battery chainsaw is first used, it is more likely to be stretched and the tension of the chain should be checked more frequently and adjusted in time.
•  When the chainsaw is stopped, the chain temperature becomes low, cold shrinkage occurs and the chain tension becomes too tight, causing damage to the components, therefore, the chain tension must be readjusted with low temperature standards.
