Which chainsaws are most suitable for home use?

Firstly, they are classified according to the power supply.

• DC battery-powered chainsaws, portable but less powerful;
• AC powered chainsaws, more powerful and cheaper.
• Chainsaws powered by petrol fuel, more power, usually more outdoor gardening; usually weighing 5-6kg, heavier, need to carry petrol.
• Lithium chainsaws powered by lithium batteries are a new type of product that has emerged in recent years, smaller in size and more portable.

With regard to home use chainsaws, we can classify them into the following categories according to their function.

Jigsaws

Jigsaws, also known as vertical saws, skeleton saws, etc., are a longitudinal reciprocating cutting tool that can be used to cut wood, plastic and metal using different saw blades. The biggest advantage of the Jigsaw is that in addition to cutting in straight lines, it can also cut in circular curves, as I have demonstrated in many of my previous DIY builds. AC chainsaws with "pigtails" are available for $20-100 for brands and $20+ for miscellaneous brands.

It is my favourite chainsaw, small, tiny and very easy to use, a lithium battery can be used on many other electric tools. The operation is complicated, press the white trigger on the handle and it is ready to go. There is a white button on the front of the trigger which, when pressed, maintains normal operation (equivalent to holding the trigger down from time to time). A knob below the trigger controls the speed at which the saw blade cuts. The cushion at the base is adjustable in angle, which means that the longitudinal angle of the cut can be adjusted. A white semi-cylindrical box on the base is used to store a few common saw blades, which can be selected according to the material to be cut.

New machines usually come with one or two general-purpose saw blades, and some miscellaneous machines even come with more than 20 blades.

Selection of saw blade mastery of the standard rope:

1. Thin teeth suitable for metal, cutting the appearance is relatively lubricated, the completion of the task is relatively slow;

It doesn't need to rely on a source of power and is portable and lithium battery driven, so it can be carried further afield, whether it's for picnics, logging, pruning branches, pruning the garden, it's all very useful.

The advantages are portability, silence and different sizes of lithium chainsaw to meet different needs. If there is a requirement for length of use, you only need the extra lithium battery.
